Johnson's Pond Redevelopment
Resource For The Community
The Town Redevelopment Agency (RDA) has been working diligently with its consultant, GZA GeoEnvironmental (GZA) to identify existing legal public access points and publicly owned land (both Town and State) along Johnson’s Pond (a/k/a Flat River Reservoir) since taking ownership of Johnson’s Pond Dam. The table below shows existing public access points to Johnson’s Pond. This will establish the first step of determining future public access points and associated amenities under the Redevelopment Plan process.
Access Points
Description:
Access has been cleared behind the Town DPW, making it ideal for walking and connecting to the bike path, with the potential for a kayak launch. The Town made recent improvements. Limited ADA accessibility.
